Real moms wear jeans. A lot. In fact, for many of us it’s a uniform. That doesn’t mean denim has to be boring, basic or to fit in a “mom jean” category. I don’t want to look 22. I want to look chic and well turned out. So my jeans need a great cut. A little higher, with some built in support is ideal.
I am wearing the latest jeans from Miraclebody Jeans by Miraclesuit. The style is called the Sandra D Ankel Jean ($102) that comes in 11 colors (I’m wearing lilac). A perfect pop for Spring, if I do say so. Find them in specialty and department stores like Nordstrom and Bloomingdales.
Why do I love them? The extra wide panel of heavy canvas that is sewn into the top of this jean. Even though I’m relatively small, my tummy still has lost shape over the years. These jeans have a patented tummy-flattening panel. For all of us who’ve had kids, Miraclebody jeans help smooth out our shape. For more information head to http://www.miraclebody.com/miracle

The top was scored on a recent TJMaxx trip. I’m combining two trends in one! Pastels and stripes. The top was on sale for $26.99–nice.
I paired this pastel look with a statement necklace from Stella & Dot. I’m wearing the Spring Awakening Necklace ($138). Maybe it’s too much color for some people. But for me, I loved adding another layer to this outfit. The necklace has coral, rose and fuchsia stones (acrylic and glass). I tend to dress up my denim and a necklace such as this does the trick!
And the final touch was a fun pair of Solitaire flats from Aerosoles ($59). This is such an easy to wear outfit. It’s comfortable, spring-like and versatile. No one piece is outrageously trendy and everything can mix and match with items from last season.
