I’m so ready to wear dresses again–it’s the easiest way to put and outfit together for spring. This one went along for my trip to Costa Rica and I “hired” a very special photographer to capture the photos at the El Mangroove hotel.
Fresco Dress | Sophia Sweater | Bracelets | Tieks Slippers
Not only did this outfit travel well, it also has loads of style. Let’s take a look at the perfect spring dress the Fresco Dress from cabi. First, let’s start with this feature: The dress has pockets. Oh, I love a dress with pockets. It’s light with a trendy floral print and is perfect for the warm days ahead. The length is flattering and the dress can be belted to make it slightly shorter.
Over top I’ve layered on the Sophia Sweater. This top is also from cabi. It’s lace on the back and knit on the front. I wore it with white denim shorts for a white on white look, but I also layered it over the dress. I plan to wear the lace with all sorts of denim this spring.
The outfit was relatively simple to put together. I slipped on my Tieks flats and some bangles and was ready to go. I didn’t even bother to dry my hair. It was all air dry and go. Well I have to admit, everything looks better with this light and a sun tan. I barely touch my hair in the summer, I can’t wait to get to the warmer weather.
How do you accessorize a dress? For me, it’s all about bracelets, this spring. You know I’ve got a thing for bracelets. This set I picked up from a recent trip to Costa Rica.
Thank you to my little photographer! She did a great job and I’m so proud of how she sees the world. She took all these photos.
